Warde Property

Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data Warde Property collects through this website, why, how long it is kept and the rights you have. It applies to visitors to this site and to people who contact us through it.

Who we are

The controller of your personal data is Warde Property, a French limited liability company (SARL) with its registered office at 2 rue Fontaine de la Ville, 06300 Nice, France, registered with the Nice Trade and Companies Register (RCS Nice) under number 917 921 975 (SIRET 917 921 975 00012). For any question about your data, write to info@wardeproperty.com or to the address above.

What we collect, why, and for how long

Enquiries. When you register interest in a property, send us a message, ask for a valuation or tell us what you are looking for (Private search), we receive your name, email address, phone number, your message and, as the case may be, details of your home or of the home you are looking for. We use them to answer you and to follow up on your request, which you ask us to do (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). We keep enquiries until you ask us to delete them.

The buyer’s guide. When you ask for the guide we receive your first name and email address, and send you a link to it. We record when the link is first opened. The request is kept like other enquiries, until you ask us to delete it.

The newsletter. If you subscribe, we keep your email address, what you chose to receive and when you agreed (your consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Nothing is sent until you confirm by the link in our email; an address that is never confirmed receives nothing, and is kept until you ask us to delete it. Newsletters are sent for us by Resend, which holds our subscribers’ email addresses for that purpose. To learn which newsletters are useful, we measure how many are opened and which links are followed: each newsletter contains a small image and links that record this with our email provider. We look at totals per newsletter, never at what one person did, and we do not combine it with anything else we know about you. This measurement is part of what you agree to when you subscribe (your consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email: nothing more is sent to you, and your address is deleted 30 days later, with us and with Resend.

Protection against spam and abuse. To keep the forms free of spam we check that a person, not a program, sent them, and we limit how often a form can be sent from one address. The internet address is used only in coded form for this, is never stored as such, and the counts expire within a day (our legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Error reports. When something goes wrong on the site, a technical report is recorded so that we can fix it. These reports do not contain your name, email address or the content of the forms.

Cookies and maps

This site stores only what it needs to work, unless you allow more. A small cookie remembers your cookie choice for six months. Maps of a property’s area come from OpenStreetMap: loading them tells the OpenStreetMap Foundation your internet address, so they appear only if you allow them. There are no advertising or tracking cookies. You can change your choice at any time on the Cookies page, linked at the foot of every page.

Who handles your data for us

We do not sell your data or share it for marketing. Service providers process it on our behalf, under contract and only for these purposes:

  • Website hosting: Vercel Inc., in its European region (Frankfurt).
  • Database: Neon Inc., in Frankfurt.
  • File storage: Cloudflare, Inc. (R2), in the European Union.
  • Email delivery and newsletters, including the list of subscribers and the measurement of opened newsletters and followed links: Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.).
  • Spam check on forms: Cloudflare, Inc. (Turnstile).
  • Error monitoring: Functional Software, Inc. (Sentry).
  • Maps, only if you allow them: the OpenStreetMap Foundation.

Some of these providers are based in the United States. Where data may leave the European Economic Area, it is protected by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

The rating from Google shown on our team pages is fetched by our server; your visit sends nothing to Google.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect what was done before. Write to info@wardeproperty.com; we answer within one month.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr), or to the authority where you live.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections and kept with providers that meet recognised security standards. Only authorised staff can see enquiries.
